COVID-19: Information for our customers
Learn how we’re keeping you, and our people, safe.
David Nieper is still delivering the clothing you love. We’re working safely and hygienically according to government advice, while also ensuring our workers have jobs to go to and that the future of our industry is safe. Read more about how we’re being affected by COVID-19, and how we’re taking care of you, below.
Deliveries and returns
For the time being we’re offering free deliveries and returns on every order. In the UK we’ve also extended our returns period, which means you can send back anything that’s not quite right once it’s safe to do so. As usual, all of our orders are sent via Royal Mail, which is taking all the necessary precautions in terms of hygiene and contact. You can read what they’re doing here.
Our wonderful, hard-working team has done a brilliant job crafting our new collection, so we have plenty of stock ready for you to shop. If anything runs out, or if there might be a little wait for a particular style, our customer service team will be in touch.
Our factory shop in Alfreton, Derbyshire, is temporarily closed. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors again sometime soon, but for now you can browse our online shop or order over the phone.
Our phone lines are open as usual from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays. You might notice fewer voices chattering away in the background; that’s because our customer service team is now working from home to stay safe.
Safety and hygiene
Everyone who can is now working from home, and during periods of strict lockdown our factories and sewing rooms are closed too. We oversee our entire manufacturing process here in Derbyshire, so we’re able to ensure that everyone, at every stage, is following the World Health Organization (WHO) and government guidelines in terms of hygiene, distancing, and isolation.
The safest place right now is home. If you’re isolating yourself from friends and family, we’re here to help – now and always. We will be spending more time on our Facebook page keeping you company, and our customer service team is always there if you need a chat. Make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter too; we’ll be sharing lots of ideas, tips, and interesting reads to keep you busy.
