We are proud to be a luxury British fashion house, manufacturing clothes sustainably and renowned for quality and enduring design. David & Rosemary Nieper had just 16 employees when the business began in 1961. Now we’re a family of over 250, with four sites in Alfreton here in the East Midlands, as well as offices in France and Germany.

Career development
Wherever possible, we prefer to promote from within. There are many career paths you might follow — from technical specialist to team leader or future head of department. You’ll receive one-to-one coaching, computer-based self-directed learning and group training sessions, plus access to technical knowledge and personal development courses in our Learning Zone.
Apprenticeships
Our Ofsted-approved apprenticeship programme continues our long tradition of passing on the very best sewing knowledge from one generation to the next. We run two nationally recognised apprenticeships — the Level 2 Sewing Machinist and Level 3 Garment Maker — so you can earn while you learn time-honoured techniques alongside state-of-the-art machinery.

IT Support Technician Apprentice
Up to 15 months · Full Time · L3 Apprenticeship · Alfreton, Derbyshire, Monday to Friday. Earn while you learn and develop your IT skills alongside our dedicated, friendly team of IT professionals. You’ll learn to optimise systems, configure devices and provide an effective IT support service across Development & Testing, IT Helpdesk, eCommerce, Network Management and Windows & Mac support — diagnosing hardware and software faults and keeping our systems secure. A Level / GCSE ICT, Maths or Science would be an advantage, as would technical and problem-solving abilities. Data access
We acknowledge an individual’s right to be informed about the processing of their personal data, the right to rectification if their personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, and the right of access to their personal data and supplementary information.
Safeguards
Data held electronically is password protected; printed data is kept in locked cabinets. Application forms that are no longer needed are shredded. Training is held annually to remind people of the importance of compliance and to review current practice in order to make any necessary improvements. Every 6 months there is a review and all applications that are no longer relevant are securely deleted.
