Senior Artwork Manager

Enjoy putting your experience in graphic artwork to full use and become a vital member of our growing Marketing Communications team. We seek an experienced Senior Graphic Artworker and Designer with a proven track record of high-quality artwork and team leadership to join our premium brand mail order fashion house, in this rare and unique senior leadership opportunity.

Take ownership for the creation and delivery of all our creative artwork, managing briefs and projects from first draft to final artwork. Lead our graphics team to creative success and effectively manage a complex schedule, creating engaging and on-brand content for our mature ladies market.

Experience in photography, typography, and digital design content alongside your strong understanding of Adobe creative suite and strong experience in artwork management will be essential. Additionally, you will have experience in mail order and brochure/catalogue design and know how to work within brand guidelines. Experience in ladieswear or premium brands would be beneficial. Knowledge of print techniques and imposition processes would also be helpful.

The Role
• Traditional and digital PR
• Brand Promotion, as well as, sourcing, collating and broadcasting interesting news content.
• Devise and implement a PR strategy that will support sales growth and promote the David Nieper socially responsible employer model.
• Design media campaigns that will attract new customers and positive press coverage.
• Respond to all press enquiries and manage media visits/ events.

The Person
• A background in PR, communication and/or journalism, with a proven track record of having a positive impact on business growth and brand development.
• Experience of broadcasting, writing, networking, and social media.
• Educated to a minimum standard of A Level in English, journalism/digital marketing , or other relevant qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a public relations, sales development or customer communication required.
• Confident in your ability to maximise PR and selling opportunities, and be relevant with current affairs.
• You will be a self-starter, highly spirited and enthusiastic in driving forward growth and development. Strong communication, organisation and planning skills are essential.

Trainee Knitwear Technicial/ Garment Developer

Enjoy this exciting opportunity to be a permanent fulltime member of our expert Knitwear Production Team, helping to expand our knitwear range. Assist with all aspects of producing our knitwear collections, using your technical ability and appreciation of textile design to produce outstanding knitwear.

Collaborate closely with the Design and Product Development Teams and learn to translate concepts into technical specifications for knitwear designs and produce knitwear production samples. Assist in the fitting of knitwear samples, providing feedback and recommendations for adjustments as needed.

An aptitude for IT and programming, a qualification related to Textiles/Knitwear or IT, would be an advantage, as well as an eye for colour and practical ability. Experience in knitwear development and construction, preferably within ladies fashion for the mature market would be advantageous, but enthusiasm, a willing attitude and attention to detail are more important. Use your excellent communication and knitwear engineering skills, to be a valuable addition to the team. This is a rare opportunity to build a career within an international fashion business.

Sewing Machinist Apprentice

What’s more, you’ll get the chance to become expert in the operation of a range of industrial machines and produce premium clothing using top-quality, responsibly sourced fabrics.

Customer Services Advisor (Part time)

(Part time, 3/4 days per week)

Use your excellent customer care skills and enjoy being an essential part of our highly trained and very friendly Customer Services team. Enjoy speaking directly to customers every day, taking great care and attention to provide the best possible service, to process orders efficiently and solve problems promptly. Excellent communication skills, a friendly, enthusiastic personality and a professional telephone manner are all essential requirements. Ecommerce Assistant (French/German Speaking)

Use your digital marketing experience to ensure the efficient operation of our company websites. This is a hands-on role, for an accomplished communicator, capable of providing language translations and keen to develop their career within Ecommerce. Work within our friendly Ecommerce team to ensure all products are placed accurately on our websites and manage content uploads for our UK and European sites. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our Marketing Department and assist with the effective running of our company websites and email marketing campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a basic knowledge of Ecommerce and proficiency in French/German, to join and grow their career within our fashion business. Use your knowledge of emerging web technologies to continually enhance our online presence, to benefit the customer experience and deliver sales growth. Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects, the ideal candidate will have a background within a Digital Marketing or Ecommerce role, and have professional working proficiency in French and/or German. Knowledge of Magento and/or Akeneo would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities:
• Work with external agencies to improve SEO ranking and performance across the French and German language sites
• Optimize the foreign language websites for differing markets based on data insights
• Managing day to day activities required in setting up new products online
• Working with internal teams to ensure all product ranges are available to our customers
• Use the companies PIM system to categories all new products for web ranges
• Liaise with our translators to obtain product information for foreign language websites
• Work with external freelancers on the creation on new content
• Assist with proofreading and checking foreign language content

IT Manager

• Hands on role, with IT management responsibilities

Use your expert understanding of systems development, and IT infrastructure to drive the technological advancement and sales growth of this well-established British Fashion House. We are seeking a skilled, professional, and personable IT Manager with an experienced background in IT systems to lead our IT team and help us to make best use of our complex systems.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with delivering operational excellence and improving the customer experience, you will have the opportunity to develop the existing systems and make significant IT innovations that will affect all key business functions.

Also, you will be managing the service provided from our Web Development Agency to maximise return on investment and optimise the processes between the website and the main IBMi ERP system. Therefore, experience of web analysis would be extremely useful.

A confident and proven Manager, you will be skilled in strategic thinking, relationship building, project management as well as business & systems analysis. In addition, you will have strong experience of: Line management of technical IT specialists, IT support operations, Management of external suppliers & relationships, and supporting ecommerce & web-based technologies. We are an industry leader in luxury garment making skills training. We currently run two nationally recognised apprenticeships: the Level 2 Sewing Machinist and Level 3 Garment Maker apprenticeship.
